Our story

This love story started on the 6th April 2019, when Savannah kindly offered to transport Sean home after a long night staying hydrated in the Auckland Viaduct.

Our relationship has been nothing short of incredible, from making each other laugh every single day, to sharing hobbies with our classic cars, and even traveling the world together. We’re the perfect match, Savannah relishes her peace & quiet reading books, while Sean’s blaring the UFC fights. Our relationship reached the next level in October 2023 when Sean took Savannah by surprise and got down on one knee while holidaying in Abu Dhabi.

We’ve long dreamt of having an intimate island wedding with our loved ones, and we’d be honoured for you to join us to celebrate the most special moment of our lives!

Order of Events

Ceremony: Starts 3:30pm. Location to be confirmed.

Reception: From 4:30pm for light canapés, refreshments and speeches. Location to be confirmed.

Unofficial after celebrations: For those who wish to join, we will be continuing our celebrations floating between one of the resort’s bar/restaurants (cash bar) and relaxing on the beach.

Destination Tips

  • Guests will fly to Nadi Airport (approx. 3 hours from Auckland & Brisbane). From there, Sofitel is about a 20 minute drive.
  • Wedding guests who wish to book accommodation at the Sofitel will receive a discounted rate: Click here to book.
  • There’s plenty to enjoy at the Sofitel Resort. Including 7 different bars/restaurants, watersports such as jet skiing, parasailing, scuba diving and kayaking, as well as its own Spa & Salon.
  • There are also cheaper alternative accommodation options around Nadi, which is only a short drive from the Sofitel Resort.

We would like the ceremony & reception to be an adults only event – guests are more than welcome to bring their kids to Fiji and use the resort’s great babysitting services. View kids club details

A gift of currency is our request and would be gratefully appreciated. A honeymoon in Europe is our dream so every little contribution will help. Either cash on the day or a bank transfer would be great.
